Supported Devices

This page lists devices which you can currently connect to your ShackConnect Server and their supported functionality level.

For devices not listed on this page, or if your experience with a device does not match the support level listed on this page, do not hesitate to contact us via email or forum. We will provide instructions on how to connect your device or try to prioritise adding support to it. Also let us know if you get a device to work that is not explicitly listed on this page, so we can add this information for the benefit of others!

We are constantly adding support for more devices, and we will update this page as the support comes online, so check back here to see if your device is supported.

Support levels explained

  • DASHBOARD - device can be connected to a dashboard controller to allow full control from the browser without need for external apps. This is the maximum support level.
  • BASIC - device is known to work with the application; in some (but not all) instances, it will be automatically recognized when connected. You can connect it to client serial ports / client or browser audio and control it via external apps.
  • GENERIC - device should be usable by connecting it to client serial ports / client or browser audio, and should be controllable from an external app, but this has not yet been verified to work 100%.

Radios - LAN

Connecting radios to the server via LAN does not have built-in support as of now; however, you can add custom network rules (ADD NODES → SERVER → NETWORK, CLIENT → NETWORK) to bridge the radio's TCP / UDP ports to your local network via ShackConnect Client (you must configure a wifi connection in the ACCOUNT → CLIENTS view for your client to access CLIENT → NETWORK nodes).

Radio interfaces - USB

For radio interfaces, the Support Level may depend on the rig behind the interface.
